No Win, No Fee Explained
Access justice without the financial risk. We believe everyone deserves expert legal representation.
What does it actually mean?
A "No Win, No Fee" agreement (officially known as a Conditional Fee Agreement) is a contract between you and the solicitor we introduce you to. It means exactly what it says: if your case is not successful, you do not pay any legal fees.
The Benefits
- No Upfront Costs: You don't pay anything to start your claim.
- Zero Risk: If the claim fails, you walk away owing nothing.
- Aligned Interests: Solicitors only take on cases they believe they can win, meaning they fight hard for your compensation.
Important fee information: A success fee of between 18% and 36% (including VAT) will be charged if your claim is successful. The exact percentage will be confirmed in your agreement before any work begins. If you cancel your claim after the 14-day cooling-off period, you may still be charged a fee to cover our reasonable costs incurred in relation to our services at the rate of £75 per hour (including VAT). iClaims Expert Ltd will receive a fee for introducing you to a solicitor.
How the solicitor gets paid
If your claim is successful, the solicitor's fee is recovered either from the opposing party (e.g. your landlord) or as a pre-agreed percentage of your compensation. This percentage is capped by law, and you will always be fully informed of the exact structure before you sign anything.
